I am so excited to be introducing The 4 week Winter Wellness Challenge together with StudioForty6. I have spent the last few years of my life, trying every detox program, wellness tips, healing mediums,meditation techniques, workshops and countless seminars and have come up with my own that can be delivered to you simply and easily on your journey to your all round health and wellness. By doing the 4 week Winter Wellness Challenge you will become the best version of you.

 

What will you gain from doing the Winter Wellness Program?

 

We all know through our own personal experiences, diet struggles, fitness crazes, books, diet fads and gurus that there is no such thing as a diet that works for everybody. Atkins Diet, Vegan Diet, Raw Diet, Paleo Diet, No Sugar Diet, Vegetarian Diet, Mediterranean Diet, The Zone Diet – Pilates, Spin, TRX and CrossFit and the list goes on - any strict meal plan cutting out everything you love and nutritionally need will help you loose for a while, until one day you can't resist the chocolate bar sitting at the counter when you go to fill your car up with petrol.

 

The beauty about the 4 week Winter Wellness Program is that it focuses on the bio-individuality of the individual that there’s no one right diet or daily practice that works for everyone all of the time. Maybe you heard about a diet or meditation that sounded great in theory, and your best friend was getting really healthy and grounded that way. But when you tried it for a week, you started to feel weak agitated and at a loss.

 

The body knows what to eat. It’s the brain that makes mistakes. When we get stuck in dietary dogma, we tend to not listen to what our body really needs. Remember, your body loves you. It can’t talk, but it does send you messages through discomfort or food cravings that need to be decoded. The real issue is if you’re willing to listen and love your body in return. The 4 week Winter Wellness Program helps you create a intimate relationship with yourself, helps you understand what your body needs and wants, helps you to become mindful in your daily practices, reminds you to take time for self care, and creates space for you to have powerful mindset changes. This program will focus on you by targeting 4 key attitudes.

 

EXERCISE

 

Exercise is a vital component for the health of our heart. It does however go well beyond just that. Understanding what the body needs and when it needs it is critical to optimal health. Most people tend to do exercise that is totally against what their body actually needs. This is a common mistake made by all. The key is to be active in life and not smashing ourselves and understanding yin and yang movements. 

 

FOOD

ME TIME

 

Being true to one selves in this day and age is a rarity. There are so many external stimulants that distract the mind and in turn distract the body. Over the month we will introduce some old favorites that will bring us back to down to earth and bring us back to the basics. It is the simple things in life that keep us well.
